Fasturtec is a drug used to treat and prevent hyperuricemia associated with tumor lysis syndrome (TLS). It rapidly breaks down uric acid into soluble metabolites to reduce blood uric acid levels, thereby reducing the risk of TLS related complications. The drug has shown good efficacy and safety in both pediatric and adult patients.

1. The therapeutic effect of Rabelase

Labridase is a recombinant uric acid oxidase that rapidly converts uric acid into the soluble metabolite allantoin, effectively reducing blood uric acid levels. The therapeutic effect is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

(1) Rapid uric acid lowering effect

Labridase usually significantly reduces blood uric acid levels within 4 hours after administration, and can bring uric acid levels back to the normal range within 24 hours. This rapid action is particularly important for patients with acute tumor lysis syndrome.

In a study involving 275 high-risk TLS patients, patients in the raprolizumab group showed an average decrease of 86% in uric acid levels within 4 hours, significantly better than those in the allopurinol group.

Long term follow-up data shows that the incidence of TLS related complications is significantly reduced in patients receiving treatment with Rabelase, and the safety is good, with a low incidence of serious adverse reactions.
