Nadimeidine can effectively improve constipation caused by opioid drugs, but serious risks should be monitored during medication. Mastering the following core precautions can help ensure safe medication use.

1、 Risk of gastrointestinal perforation

High risk population: Patients with a history of digestive ulcers, diverticulitis, gastric or intestinal wall injuries, or those who also use nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have a higher risk of perforation.

Warning symptoms: If sudden severe abdominal pain, fever, nausea and vomiting, or abdominal tenderness occur, seek medical attention immediately.

Response measures: Before treatment, the basic condition of the intestines should be evaluated. If any suspicious symptoms occur during medication, the medication should be stopped immediately and checked.

2、 Opioid withdrawal symptoms

Common manifestations: May include abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, chills, sweating, or anxiety, usually occurring within a few hours after taking medication.

High risk factors: Opioid drugs with high blood-brain barrier permeability (such as methadone) or long-term high-dose users are more prone to occur.

Response measures: If the symptoms are obvious, nadomeprazole can be temporarily discontinued, and the decision to continue treatment should be reassessed after the symptoms have improved.

3、 Drug interactions

Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (such as ketoconazole and clarithromycin): can increase the blood concentration of nadir, increase the risk of adverse reactions, and should be used with caution and adjusted in dosage.

Strong CYP3A4 inducers (such as rifampicin and carbamazepine): can reduce the efficacy of nadir and should be avoided in combination.
