During the use of Seratinib, diarrhea, nausea, and fatigue are the most common manageable side effects. The following is a targeted treatment plan, please implement it according to your own situation.

1、 Diarrhea management (core: hydration and stopping diarrhea)

Timely hydration: Increase daily water intake to 2-3 liters (preferably oral rehydration salts or diluted saline), in small amounts multiple times, to avoid dehydration.

Drug intervention: If there are ≥ 3 loose stools per day, immediately follow the doctor's advice to use loperamide (first dose 4mg, subsequent 2mg after each loose stool, daily ≤ 16mg).

Diet adjustment: stop dairy products, high fiber and greasy food, and choose banana, porridge, toast and other low residue foods that are easy to digest.

2、 Nausea control (core: meal separation and odor)

Medication tip: Antiemetic medication (such as metoclopramide) can be taken 30 minutes before taking the medication. When taking the medication, use cold water to avoid aggravating stomach discomfort with warm water.

Meal mode: Change to 6-8 small meals per day to avoid fasting or overeating; Maintain a sitting position within 1 hour after a meal and do not immediately lie down.

Odor avoidance: Keep away from strong smells such as kitchen fume and perfume. Smell fresh lemon peel or mint oil to alleviate immediate nausea.

3、 Fatigue coping (core: energy conservation and rhythm)

Activity grading: Divide daily activities into "essential" (such as meals), "important" (such as short walks), and "optional" (such as household chores), with priority given to the first two, and the rest entrusted to others.

Short break: Every 20-30 minutes of activity, arrange 5-10 minutes of sitting or eye rest; Take a nap during lunchtime within 30 minutes to avoid affecting nighttime sleep.

Sleep routine: Set a fixed time for waking up and falling asleep, increase natural light exposure during the day (10 minutes in the morning), and reduce blue light stimulation at night.

4、 Medical alert line

If diarrhea occurs at least 8 times a day, vomiting causes inability to eat for 24 hours, or fatigue worsens to the point where one cannot get out of bed or move around, immediate contact with the supervising doctor is necessary and observation cannot be extended on one's own.
