Sorafenib is often accompanied by side effects such as fatigue, decreased appetite, and rash during treatment, which affect the quality of life of patients. Scientific management can effectively alleviate symptoms and ensure continuity of treatment. The following three aspects provide response strategies.

1、 Fatigue management

Regularly arrange short breaks and avoid prolonged bed rest; Napping during the day should not exceed 30 minutes to avoid affecting nighttime sleep.

Reserve energy, break down daily activities into multiple short periods, and prioritize important tasks.

Engage in low-intensity exercises such as walking or stretching, and dynamically adjust the duration and frequency according to physical fitness.

Assess the presence of anemia or hypothyroidism and provide targeted interventions if necessary.

2、 Coping with decreased appetite

Eat small meals frequently, arrange 5-6 small meals per day to alleviate feelings of fullness.

Choose high protein, high energy density foods (such as egg custard, minced meat, nut sauce), and drink a small amount of appetizer drinks (such as lemonade) before meals.

Create a pleasant dining environment by adding spices or sauces to improve food flavor and avoid greasy or stimulating foods.

3、 Skin rash care measures

Use a mild, fragrance free moisturizer daily, avoid excessively high bath water temperature, and avoid scratching.

Wear loose and breathable cotton clothing to reduce friction; Avoid direct sunlight and use physical sunscreen with SPF ≥ 30 when going out.

If peeling or drying occurs, repair products containing urea or ceramide can be applied locally; If blisters or exudate appear, seek medical attention promptly.
