Jisanda is a pan genotype oral antiviral drug for hepatitis C, with clear standard usage and dosage, fixed treatment course, and minimal impact of diet on its absorption. Mastering the following key points can ensure standardized medication and stable efficacy.
1、 Standard usage and dosage
1. The recommended dosage is once daily, taking one tablet orally each time (400mg sofosbuvir/100mg vapatavir).
2. Take medication at a fixed time every day, preferably in the morning and evening, to maintain regularity.
3. Swallow the whole tablet, do not crush, chew or break it open for use.
If the missed time does not exceed 18 hours, it should be taken as soon as possible; If it has exceeded 18 hours, skip the missed dose and take it at the regular time the next day. Double supplementation is prohibited.
2、 Recommended treatment course
1. For patients without cirrhosis or compensated cirrhosis (Child Pugh A grade), the course of treatment is 12 weeks.
2. Patients with decompensated cirrhosis (Child Pugh B/C grade) need to be treated with ribavirin in combination, with a treatment course of 12 weeks.
3. Stop taking the medication at the end of the treatment course, without the need to extend or shorten the treatment time based on changes in viral load.
During the treatment period, HCVRNA testing should be performed at the 4th week and at the end of treatment to evaluate response.
3、 The relationship between dietary habits and medication
1. This product can be taken on an empty stomach or with meals, and a high-fat diet does not affect its absorption.
2. It is recommended to take medication at a fixed time every day, and taking it with breakfast or dinner can help form a regular habit.
3. It is advisable to avoid taking medication while consuming large amounts of grapefruit juice. Although there are no clear contraindications, caution should be exercised to minimize intake.
During the medication period, there is no need to deliberately adjust the diet structure, but alcohol abuse should be avoided to reduce the burden on the liver.
