Nausea, diarrhea, and anemia in Venera are mostly mild to moderate, and can be effectively controlled by taking medication with meals, adjusting diet, and symptomatic medication. Seek medical attention promptly when symptoms worsen. Do not discontinue medication or increase or decrease dosage on your own, especially during the dose escalation period, strictly follow medical advice.

1、 Disgusting coping strategies

1.1 Medication method adjustment

Take it with meals and pad the stomach with light food such as rice porridge, soda biscuits, etc. to avoid fasting irritation.

The dose ramp up period is particularly important: 100mg on the first day, 200mg on the second day, and 400mg on the third day (to be maintained afterwards), which must be taken with meals to reduce gastrointestinal reactions.

1.2 Dietary and lifestyle adjustments

Eat small, frequent meals 5-6 times a day, avoiding greasy, spicy, or overly sweet foods.

Maintain a sitting position for 30 minutes after meals and avoid immediately lying down.

You can try taking ginger candy or drinking light ginger tea to relieve nausea.

1.3 Medication Assistance

If nausea persists, ondansetron (orally disintegrating tablets) or metoclopramide can be used under the guidance of a doctor.

Prophylactic use of antiemetic medication 30 minutes before taking medication if necessary.

2、 Management of Diarrhea

2.1 Dietary Adjustment

Choose low fiber, digestible foods, such as porridge, bananas, and toast.

Avoid high-fat, dairy products, caffeine, and artificial sweeteners to reduce intestinal irritation.

Increase water intake (oral rehydration salts or diluted salt water), drink small sips multiple times to prevent dehydration.

2.2 Medication Assistance

If diarrhea persists, use loperamide as prescribed: 2 capsules (4mg) for the first time, 1 capsule (2mg) after each bowel movement, and no more than 8 capsules (16mg) within 24 hours.

Pay attention to whether there is bloody stool or fever, and seek medical attention immediately if it occurs.

2.3 Perianal care

After defecation, gently wash with warm water and apply buttock cream or Vaseline to prevent skin damage.

3、 Self management of anemia

3.1 Dietary support

Increase the intake of high-quality protein (fish, lean meat, eggs, soy products) and iron (red meat, animal liver, spinach).

Paired with vitamin C (oranges, tomatoes) to promote iron absorption.

3.2 Activities and Safety

Avoid sudden standing up and prevent orthostatic hypotension.

When feeling increasingly fatigued, immediately sit down or lie down to rest.

3.3 Medical indications

If pale complexion, palpitations after activity, and worsening shortness of breath occur, a timely follow-up blood routine should be conducted.

If hemoglobin continues to decrease, a doctor needs to evaluate whether blood transfusion or adjustment of the dose of Venetoclase (such as reducing to 200mg/day or suspending) is necessary.
