Targeted management measures are needed for common side effects such as diarrhea, stomatitis, and fatigue during treatment with Futibatinib. The following provides detailed guidance on symptom recognition, grading, and daily care to help patients effectively cope with adverse reactions.

1. Diarrhea management

Mild diarrhea (<4 times a day) can be alleviated by adjusting diet: increasing water intake, avoiding high fiber and high-fat foods, and adopting a BRAT diet (bananas, rice, apple sauce, toast). Moderate diarrhea requires oral rehydration salts to prevent dehydration, and if necessary, antidiarrheal drugs such as loperamide should be used.

2. Nursing of stomatitis

Rinse mouth daily with a soft bristled toothbrush and saline solution. In case of ulcer, lidocaine gel can be applied locally for analgesia to avoid acidic/spicy food. Severe oral inflammation (affecting eating) requires medical intervention, which may involve using mouthwash containing glucocorticoids or suspending medication.

3. Fatigue coping

Reasonably arrange activities and rest periods to avoid overexertion. Moderate exercise such as walking can improve physical fitness. Fatigue caused by anemia requires checking hemoglobin and supplementing with iron or erythropoietin if necessary. Continuous severe fatigue requires assessment of thyroid function.

4. Comprehensive monitoring requirements

Record the frequency and severity of symptoms, and regularly follow up with doctors to report. Dose adjustment should be considered for adverse reactions of grade 2 or above. Simultaneously monitor electrolyte balance (especially during diarrhea) to prevent dehydration and malnutrition.

5. Emergency medical indications
