Lasvic, as a quinolone antibacterial drug, has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity and a unique mechanism of action. Drug interactions involve the influence of hepatic enzymes and specific drug compatibility contraindications. 1. Effect of action

(1) Pharmacological mechanism

It has significant activity against both gram-negative bacteria (such as Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae) and positive bacteria (such as Staphylococcus aureus), including some drug-resistant strains.

2. Drug interactions

(1) Metal ion preparation

Co administration with aluminum/magnesium antacids and iron agents can form chelates, reducing the bioavailability of lacufloxacin by more than 50%. It should be taken 2-4 hours apart.

(2) CYP450 impact

As a CYP1A2 intermediate acting inhibitor, it may increase the blood concentration of drugs such as theophylline and caffeine, and toxicity reactions need to be monitored when used in combination.

(3) Specific drug contraindications

Combined use with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs increases the risk of central nervous system excitability; Combined use with drugs that prolong the QT interval may induce apical torsion ventricular tachycardia.

3. Special precautions

(1) The impact of food

A high-fat diet delays absorption but does not affect total exposure. It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach to obtain a more stable blood drug concentration.

(2) Metabolic pathways

Mainly excreted through the kidneys, dosage adjustment is required for patients with renal insufficiency; Liver function impairment has a relatively small impact on metabolism.
