Is Crizotinib effective
Crizotinib has significant therapeutic effects on ALK positive non-small cell lung cancer, with an objective remission rate of 60% -80%. It can effectively prolong the progression free survival of patients, but strict adherence to genetic testing results is required.
1 Clinical efficacy data
(1) Objective response rate: In the PROFILE 1014 study, the ORR of the crizotinib group reached 74%, significantly better than the chemotherapy group's 45%.
(2) Progression free survival: The median PFS was 10.9 months, significantly longer than the chemotherapy group (7.0 months).
2. Mechanism of action
(1) Target inhibition: By selectively inhibiting ALK, ROS1, and MET tyrosine kinases, the tumor cell proliferation signaling pathway is blocked.
