Taboo populations, foods, and restrictions of Palbociclib
The contraindicated population for Palbociclib includes individuals with specific disease states, pregnancy, and drug allergies. 1. Taboo population
(1) Pregnant women: May cause fetal malformations, effective contraceptive measures should be taken during treatment and 3 weeks after discontinuation of medication.
(2) Severe liver dysfunction: Not recommended for Child Pugh C patients, dosage adjustment is needed for moderate to mild cases.
(3) History of drug allergy: It is absolutely prohibited for those who are allergic to pembrolizine or its excipients.
2. Taboos of drug interactions
(1) CYP3A potent inhibitors, such as clarithromycin and itraconazole, can increase the blood concentration of pembrolizine and should be avoided in combination or adjusted in dosage.
(2) CYP3A potent inducers, such as rifampicin and phenytoin sodium, may reduce efficacy and require switching to non interacting drugs.
(3) QT prolonging drugs, such as amiodarone and haloperidol, may increase the risk of arrhythmia when used in combination.
3. Dietary restrictions
(1) Grapefruit/grapefruit juice: contains CYP3A inhibitor ingredients, and should be completely avoided during medication.
(2) Alcohol: may increase the burden on liver function, it is recommended to quit drinking during treatment.

4. Other restrictions
