Has Sotorasib been launched? How do you eat?
Sotorasib has not yet been officially listed in Chinese Mainland. Patients need to obtain it through overseas channels, but they should pay attention to the authenticity and quality safety of drugs. The standard usage is 960mg orally once a day, taken at a fixed time.
The current situation of Sotorasib's domestic listing
(1) As of October 2025, Sotoraxib has not been approved by the China National Medical Products Administration and therefore has not been sold in domestic hospitals or regular pharmacies. (2) Patients can purchase the original drug through cross-border medical channels or certified overseas pharmacies, and must provide a prescription and genetic testing report. Be alert to the quality risks of generic drugs. (3) Medical insurance coverage: As the drug has not been listed domestically, it is currently not included in the reimbursement scope of Chinese medical insurance. How to eat Sotorasib
1. Standard usage and dosage
960mg should be taken orally once a day at the same time. Tablets come in three sizes: 120mg, 240mg, and 320mg, and should be taken in combination as needed.
2. Omission or vomiting treatment
If the missed dose does not exceed 6 hours, it can be immediately replenished; If it exceeds 6 hours, skip and take the medication according to the original plan the next day. Vomiting after taking medication does not require supplementation, and medication should be taken normally the next day.
3 Principles of Dose Adjustment
The first reduction is to 480mg/day, and the second reduction is to 240mg/day. The situations that need to be adjusted include: interstitial lung disease (permanent discontinuation of medication), grade 3-4 nausea/vomiting/diarrhea (pause until reduced after recovery), and liver toxicity (adjusted according to AST/ALT levels).
4. Medication for special populations
Prohibited during pregnancy, recommended to discontinue feeding during lactation. Not recommended for children to use. Elderly people do not need to adjust their dosage, but their liver and kidney function should be monitored.
5 Drug Interactions
Avoid using CYP3A4 strong inducers, P-glycoprotein substrates, and gastric acid inhibitors (such as proton pump inhibitors) in combination. When combined use is necessary, the medication time or dosage needs to be adjusted.
