Nivolumab and relatlimab are dual immune checkpoint inhibitor compound preparations for intravenous infusion, which must strictly follow dosage standards, infusion norms, and special population adjustment principles to ensure safe and effective treatment.
1. Administration method and formulation characteristics
(1) Intravenous infusion administration: Used in the form of sterile concentrate, containing 240 milligrams of nivolumab and 80 milligrams of ranibizumab per 20 milliliters.
(2) Solution characteristics: Clear to milky color, colorless to light yellow; If turbidity or particles appear, they need to be discarded. Can be diluted (0.9% sodium chloride/5% glucose) or used undiluted.
2 standard dosage of medication
(1) Adults and adolescents aged ≥ 12 years and weighing ≥ 40kg: intravenous infusion of 480mg nivolumab+160mg ranibizumab every 4 weeks until disease progression or intolerable toxicity occurs.
(2) Infusion preparation: The medication needs to be transferred through a compatible infusion bag (such as polyolefin material), diluted and gently inverted for mixing, and shaking is prohibited.
3. Medication for special populations
(1) Pregnancy period: May cause fetal damage, confirm pregnancy status before medication and take contraceptive measures until 5 months after the last dose.
(2) Breastfeeding period: Breastfeeding is prohibited during the treatment period and for 5 months after discontinuation of medication.
(3) Liver and kidney dysfunction: Mild to moderate does not affect clearance, and severe cases require careful evaluation.
4 Precautions and Emergency Response
(1) Omission treatment: If an infusion is missed, immediately contact a doctor to adjust the follow-up plan.
(2) Drug interactions: It is necessary to inform the doctor of all concomitant medications (including herbs).
(3) Overtreatment: If any abnormalities occur, seek medical attention immediately for monitoring.
