How many tablets of Mobocetinib should I take per day
Mobocetinib is an oral EGFR inhibitor primarily used to treat non-small cell lung cancer carrying EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations. The standard dose is once daily, 160mg each time (4 40mg tablets), which needs to be swallowed whole and treated continuously until disease progression or intolerable toxicity occurs.
1 Standard Dose Protocol
(1) Adult non-small cell lung cancer: Take 160mg orally once daily (4 40mg tablets), recommended to be taken at a fixed time.
(2) Usage: Swallow the whole tablet, do not crush, chew or dissolve the tablet, can be taken with food or on an empty stomach.
Principle of dose adjustment
(1) Adverse reactions of grade ≥ 3: The medication should be temporarily discontinued until it recovers to grade ≤ 1, and then reduced to 120mg/day (3 tablets) or 80mg/day (2 tablets).
(2) QT interval prolongation: If QTcF>500ms, suspend administration until it returns to ≤ 480ms, and then permanently reduce to 120mg/day.
3. Medication for special populations
(1) Liver dysfunction: mild injury does not require adjustment; Moderate to severe injuries (Child Pugh B/C) need to be reduced to 80mg/day.
(2) Renal insufficiency: mild to moderate injury does not require adjustment; Lack of data for severe injury (eGFR<30mL/min), use with caution.
4. Handling of missed services
(1) If the missed dose time is ≤ 6 hours, the current dose should be taken immediately.
(2) If the missed dose exceeds 6 hours: skip the current dose and take the medication according to the original plan the next day. Double dose supplementation is prohibited.
